Lucy Xiang-fu Wainger is from New York City. Her debut chapbook In Life There Are Many Things won the Black River Chapbook Competition from Black Lawrence Press, and her micro-chapbook How to Write an Essay is forthcoming from Palette Poetry. She currently lives in Chicago and works as a fifth grade assistant teacher.
